• How do I sync my Polar device to the BookDoc app?

Currently, most fitness apps by Chinese manufacturers, such as Huawei, do not support direct syncing/integration with other health & fitness apps, including BookDoc. The only work around is to sync indirectly via Google Fit (Android) or Apple Health (iOS).

• How do I sync my Polar device to Google Fit?

Disclaimer: This workaround may NOT work well for some users and they may experience data discrepancies because the data is indirectly synced from Polar Flow to BookDoc via another third-party app, Google Fit.

 

STEP 1

– Download the ‘Polar Flow’ app and create a user account.

 

STEP 2

– Pair your Polar device to the ‘Polar Flow’ app.

 

STEP 3

– Open the menu in the top left corner, and then go to ‘General Settings’.

 

STEP 4

–Toggle ‘Google Fit’ on.

 

STEP 5

-Choose the account that you use to log in on ‘Google Fit’

 

STEP 6

– Give ‘Polar Flow’ permission to transfer data to ‘Google Fit’

 

STEP 7

–Open the ‘BookDoc’ app and tap on ‘Activ’ to sync with ‘Google Fit’.

 

NOTE

– Please open both the ‘Polar Flow’ and ‘Google Fit’ apps once daily for data transmission. Do refresh the ‘Google Fit’ app after 3-5 mins to ensure the data is updated.

– Owners of ‘Polar’ wearables need to pair their devices to the ‘Polar Flow’ app in order to sync indirectly to ‘BookDoc’ via ‘Google Fit’.

• How do I sync my Polar device to Apple Health?

– Pair your Polar device to the ‘Polar Flow’ app.

–Toggle ‘Apple Health’ on.

 

STEP 5

– Toggle ‘ON’ for all categories.

 

STEP 6

–Open the ‘BookDoc’ app and tap on ‘Activ’ to sync with ‘Apple Health’.

– Please open both the ‘Polar Flow’ and ‘Apple Health’ apps once daily for data transmission.
